We warmly invite schools and groups to join us for an inspiring hands-on adventure in our living farm lab — exploring productive growing and sustainable living in action.

About our learning

Not just a farm

At 5EyesFarm we grow the finest of organic produce that we can in this climate and situation. But growing great foods is just the beginning. What we do with those foods is going to determine the taste, health and benefits of our food so much. Learn into some of the basics around getting hold of good produce and then preparing it well to create variety, reduce waste and be healthier in our eating habits

Our Field Trips

Field trips at 5eyes give students a safe, hands-on experience of a greener, more sustainable world. We run age-appropriate mini-workshops in rotation so every group enjoys a variety of activities — from making candlenut oil, harvesting and preparing food, and feeding animals, to eco-brick making, building with mud, exploring the forest garden, and learning how our fish systems work.

It’s real-world, outdoor learning in an integrated sustainability lab.

Food & refreshments

5eyes is known for delicious, healthy food grown and prepared straight from the farm. Field trip guests enjoy a wide variety of options, with most ingredients coming directly from our gardens. We complement the meal with fresh juices and teas the kids love — and since we make our own chocolate, every visit includes a small sweet treat!

Guests are welcomed with light refreshments on arrival, with extra drinks and snacks provided between sessions to keep everyone energised.

Supporting Teachers & Schools

We’re here to help schools bring learners of all ages closer to nature and sustainability. 5eyes is a living sustainability lab combined with an organic permaculture farm — a fresh, meaningful experience for young people.

We understand the challenges teachers face with planning, scheduling, budgets, and parent expectations. Our approach is flexible: we listen to your goals, themes, and ideas, and work with you to create a field trip that truly supports your learning program.
